Lower Davis Creek Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Notice of Study Commencement and Public Information Centre #1 The Study: The City of Hamilton has initiated the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process for the Lower Davis Creek Class EA, dealing with erosion and flooding issues within the study. A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held to discuss the proposed alternatives, criteria and evaluation methodology.

Confederation Park Master Plan Open House

In 2007 I requested the City and Conservation Authority make plans for a new and improved Confederation Park. Funds were subsequently approved to formulate a new master plan for the park, and substantial progress has been made over the past year. A draft plan will be presented to the public at an open house scheduled for Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 at the Lakeland Centre, 180 Van Wagner's Beach Road. The open house will run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a presentation to be held at 7:00 p.m. Please plan to attend this important meeting to provide your input on the future of one of Hamilton's greatest assets.
